Payment & Refund Policy

1. Payment Methods

• • Payments are accepted via Paystack, bank transfer, and other methods listed at checkout.
• • All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated.
• • Payment must be received before a session or service begins, unless a prior arrangement has been agreed in writing.

2. Subscriptions (AI Writing Coach & Recurring Coaching)

• • Subscriptions renew automatically on the same date each month unless cancelled.
• • You may cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• • Unused corrections or sessions do not roll over to the next month unless stated in your plan.

3. Free Beta Period

• • During the AI Writing Coach beta, access is provided free of charge.
• • We reserve the right to end the beta period at any time with 14 days' notice.
• • Beta users will be offered a discounted rate when paid plans launch.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• • Rescheduling: You may reschedule a session with at least 24 hours' notice at no cost.
• • Late rescheduling: Less than 24 hours' notice counts as a used session.
• • No-shows: If you do not join within 10 minutes of the start time, the session is forfeited.
• • Cancellation by DFrenchHive: If we cancel a session, you receive a full credit or refund.

5. Refunds

• • Before a session: Full refund if cancelled 24+ hours in advance.
• • After a session: No refunds for completed sessions.
• • Subscriptions: No partial refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.
• • Translation & Interpretation: Refunds are only available if work has not yet begun. Once a quote is accepted and work starts, no refunds are issued.
• • Exceptional circumstances: Refunds may be granted at our discretion for medical or family emergencies, with documentation.

6. Human Review Upgrade

• • When you pay for a human review of an AI correction, the review is delivered within 48 hours.
• • If you are not satisfied with the human review, you may request one revision at no extra cost.
• • Refunds are not available after the human review has been delivered.

7. Failed Payments

• • If a subscription payment fails, we will retry within 3 days.
• • If payment is not received within 7 days, access is suspended until the balance is cleared.
